In an attempt to expand its presence on social media, the British monarchy is now on the hunt for someone to manage its Twitter accounts.

The lucky recruit could earn themselves £50,000 per annum, according to the job posting. With over two million followers to entertain and inform across several official Twitter and Facebook accounts, managing the Royal “digital communications strategy” is no easy feat, to say the least.

A quick browse through the accounts for the British Monarchy, Kensington Palace, and Clarence House shows glossy pics of the Royals’ globetrotting exploits, complete with unique hashtags and positive messages.Although these accounts seem a bit “stiff”, the vacancy insists there is room for “creativity” for anyone that understands “new technologies.” Hopefully this means that we’ll start seeing Queenie on SnapChat!
